CHICAGO -- Planes at both O'Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport were forced to remain on the ground for over an hour this morning due to weather.

ABC7 is reporting that ground stops were issued around 8 a.m. and not lifted until roughly 9:30 a.m.

The Michiana area is in the path of some severe weather patterns today (May 7) while many Hoosiers try to make their ways to the polls.
