Sample Street shut down due to commercial fire at auto body shop

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police have shut down Sample Street between Olive and Walnut due to a fire at an auto body shop in the area.
The fire started at the business at 2205 W. Sample Street at around 4:30 p.m. Friday.
Over a dozen fire trucks responded to the scene.
Firefighters say they believe the fire won't be completely extinguished for a few hours.
