SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A Rally for Rudy is happening this upcoming Monday right outside the Compton Family Ice Center.
A car wash will be held for honorary Notre Dame hockey team member, Rudy Chapman, a huge Notre Dame fan, right now dealing with bone cancer.
Chapman was diagnosed at just five-years-old; he's been in and out of the hospital since 2018 and is currently undergoing chemotherapy to deal with that bone cancer. He's been a huge supporter for the Irish, so now the team is supporting him.
All proceeds from Monday's car wash will go right to Rudy to help with medical expenses.
People can have their car get a special shine for a good cause from 5 to 7 p.m.
