ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Sunday, April 7, 2024
As most of us wake up this morning, you'll be able to catch a glimpse of sunshine early in the day. However, the morning will get progressively cloudier with rain approaching from the west. Wet weather develops early this afternoon as highs make it to the upper 50s. Expect showers and wind speeds ranging from 20-30 mph to arrive around 2-3PM and last through the entire back half of today with some periodic and heavier rain likely. Lows fall into the mid 40s tonight as the rain tapers off, leaving clearing skies behind. On Monday, the forecast continues to trend in a positive direction for those wanting to view the eclipse. Highs will extend into the low 70s and cloud cover, especially south near Indianapolis, will likely stay at a minimum, Some high-level, thin clouds are still likely, but these should not completely hamper the eclipse experience. Expect Tuesday to be cloudier than Monday but still dry with highs yet again peaking right around 70. The wet weather returns on Wednesday as showers move in and last into Thursday.
Today: PM rain showers. Windy. High 57.
Tonight: Showers. Low 44.
Monday (Eclipse): Mostly sunny. High 72.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. High 70.
