We start the work week dry and quiet with highs rising into the upper 30's, but we don't stay this way for long - tomorrow brings active weather as a strong low pressure system approaches the Great Lakes. This winter storm will bring heavy snow starting after midnight tonight, turning to a wintry mix then rain tomorrow morning. With the precip. type switching over to rain a little earlier, we've dropped our forecasted snow totals a bit with most areas expected to see 1-2" although we could see a bit more in spots with the greatest totals expected further southeast. The morning commute tomorrow will be rough, so make sure to give yourself extra time on the roads. With temperatures warming close to 40, we'll continue to see rain throughout the entire day, lasting into Tuesday night. We'll switch back to snow early Wednesday morning with snow showers likely the first half of Wednesday. Looking ahead to the end of the week, we're keeping an eye on more impactful weather possible Friday night into Saturday as well as a big cool down by the end of the weekend.
Today: Cloudy. High 37.
Tonight: Heavy snow. Low 32.
Tuesday: Rain/snow. High 40.
Wednesday: AM snow showers. High 35.
