BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Monday morning.
Just before 2 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Highland Avenue for reports of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found a 33-year-old man who was injured by gunfire.
The victim was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Police are asking for the public’s help locating Ricky Bridgeman, who is a person of interest.
The investigation into the homicide is ongoing.
