South Bend native competes for National Jr. Ranger
Plymouth, Ind- The 2018 Plymouth High School Dance Marathon was a success.
Dozens of students showed up at school on a Saturday to dance and raise money for Riley’s Children’s Hospital.
Their goal was to raise $35,000 dollars and they finished with $39,081.74.
“Sometimes we think our life isn’t great, but we are really blessed, compared to what happens there,” said Dance Marathon President Kenzie Quissell. “So it just makes me happy knowing that I finally get to step into this position.”
This year was the 7th annual dance marathon hosted by Plymouth High School. In that time, students have raised close to $150,000 dollars for Riley’s Hospital.
Besides the Dance Marathon, students have also hosted donation drives outside of super markets and sand volleyball tournaments in the summer.
