CASS COUNTY, Mich. – One person was injured in a one-vehicle crash in Cass County on Tuesday evening, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported.

At 5:36 p.m., officers were called to investigate a personal injury crash near the intersection of Old M-205 and State Line Road in Mason Township.

An investigation found that the vehicle was traveling north on Old M-205 when the driver had a medical emergency.

The vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole.

The driver was taken to a hospital for his injuries.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time and alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor, reports said.

This crash is still under investigation.
