One dead after Elkhart County motorcycle crash

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- One man is dead after a crash on CR 18 near Brendon Court, Saturday afternoon.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, 23-year-old Brian Regan was killed after his motorcycle and a Jeep Rubicon collided just after 4 p.m.

Regan was heading westbound on CR 18 when a Jeep Rubicon was headed eastbound. The Jeep attempted to make a left turn, when the motorcycle crashed into the passenger’s side.

Regan was taken to Elkhart General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Jeep, 48-year-old Carter Venus, was uninjured.

Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.
