One person injured in Milton Township crash

CASS COUNTY, Mich. --Cass County Police responded to crash in Milton Township, near the intersection of Conrad Road and US 12, where a man was injured, on April 5, 2024, around 7:40 p.m.
Investigation shows that male driver fell asleep at the wheel, ran off the road and struck a large tree.
He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this crash, and he was wearing a seatbelt.
This crash is still currently being investigated.
