Mobile home and vehicle fire in Elkhart County Sunday afternoon

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart Fire Department reports crews responded to a possible residential fire at 2751 Old U.S. 20 on Sunday around 3:46 p.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a mobile home with heavy fire throughout as well as a vehicle on fire at the front of the home.

Crews then began an attack line.

Fire officials say a business next door to the home also sustained fire damage.

Crews gained control of the fire about an hour after arriving, according to the report.

No injuries were reported.

The Red Cross was also contacted to assist the occupant of the structure.
