Child missing from Benton Township found safe

UPDATE: Ja’nyiah Jones has been located and is safe. 

BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Ja'nyiah Jones was last seen at her residence at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

She was last seen wearing a black shirt with white lettering, black pants, and a pink head band. Ja'nyiah was not wearing shoes when she left the residence.

She is non-verbal and autistic.

Her residence is near the intersection of N. Euclid Ave. and Territorial Rd.

Anyone who sees her or knows of her whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
