MISHAWAKA, Ind. - There were plenty of questions this summer as to what the coming season would be like for Mishawaka football. At the same time though, there were just as many reasons for optimism – which now seem to have become reality.
The Cavemen just wrapped up the regular season in dramatic fashion, beating rival Penn in an overtime thriller to cap an 8-1 regular season record and clinch an outright NIC North title.
First year coach Keith Kinder and his group haven't changed Mishawaka's identity much, if at all, this season. They just say everything is clicking at the right time for this talented group, which takes a six-game winning streak into a road contest at Hobart to start 4A Sectionals.
Hear Coach Kinder's thoughts on taking his team on the road to begin postseason play!
