TROY, Mich. – An armed 23-year-old man is dead after threatening police with knives in Troy, Michigan Monday morning.
WXYZ reports, just before 7:30 a.m. police were called to a home, where family members reported a dangerous suspect
The man had allegedly been hitting people and armed himself with knives.
According to the report, the family locked themselves in a bedroom until officers arrived.
Sources say an officer used a taser on the man but he continued to run toward the officer.
Officials said a police lieutenant fired several shots and killed the suspect.
The investigation is still ongoing.
