Warm, end of summer weather lasts through the weekend, sunshine and highs in the 80s. While the Carolinas get pounded by Hurricane Florence, the Midwest is “stuck” under an area of high pressure with little change day-to-day. This is fairly typical for the center of the country, as tropical systems tend to create a traffic jam in the west to east weather pattern. Rain and cooler, fall weather looks likely by the end of next week.
Tonight: Clear, patchy fog, low of 58.
Friday: Mostly sunny, high of 80.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, high of 82.
Sunday: Sunny, high of 84.
