Berrien County, MI- The potholes are back. The Michigan Department of Transportation has closed down two lanes on I-196, near the Red Arrow Highway exit.
MDOT says potholes are common this time of year throughout the state. They are common when the ground repeatedly freezes and thaws. It also says road crews are working on the issues and will get to them as soon as possible.
If you see a pothole in your area, take a picture and send it to ABC 57 News. You can also share it on social media using #57potholeproblems and the location of the pothole.
