13-year-old injured in South Bend shooting

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A 13-year-old was shot early Monday morning on South Bend’s south side.
According to South Bend Police, the shooting happened on Miami Street near Bowman Street around 1:20 a.m.
Officers were working in the area and heard the gunfire and were soon flagged down in the 1900 block of Miami where they found the victim shot in the upper thigh.
The victim told officers he was walking in the area when individuals in a vehicle drove by and started to shoot.
There is no suspect description. No arrests have been made.
