PLYMOUTH, Ind. – Army veteran, Josh Walker, has announced his candidacy for Mayor of Plymouth, Indiana.
Walker, a local business owner, believes the city of Plymouth needs to refocus on local leadership and job growth.
“I was one of the primary leaders in the flood recovery efforts in the spring flooding in Marshall County and I saw a lot of community support, a lot of loyalty and commitment to helping our community come back together and be whole, and so I want to take that same energy and kind of focus it moving forward with community leaders, citizens, and voters and organizations and get everybody moving on the same page in the same direction, “said Walker.
Walker would be challenging Republican Mark Senter who has been the city’s mayor since 2008.
Josh Walker will be holding a meet-and-greet Dec. 5 at Opie’s Deli and Office located at 114 N Michigan Street in Plymouth, Indiana tomorrow from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
