Notre Dame hockey had to battle for a second-place finish in the Big Ten regular season, but that effort afforded the Irish the right to host each postseason game until the championship.
This weekend, they see the pay-off after advancing to the Big Ten Tournament semifinals, where they will host Minnesota for a single-elimination game.
