Severe weather could visit Midwest again Wednesday
Sweltering heat and humidity this weekend, highs warm into the low to mid 90s and the heat index will peak near 100. The hottest day will be Sunday with highs in the mid-90s and a record warmest low could be set Monday morning as temps stay in the 70s. The heat breaks Monday night when a cold front moves through with showers and thunderstorms.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, low 68.
Saturday: Partly cloudy, a few isolated showers/storms, best chance in the early morning, high of 92.
Sunday: Hot and humid, highs in the mid-90s, heat index near 100.
Monday: Hot and humid with storms moving in late, highs in the low 90s.
