Goshen Police help 91-year-old veteran with yard work

Goshen Police who had a little time to give helped a 91-year-old veteran with yard work.

Several officers went to the home of Louis Sonnenberg, who served in WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam, to rake his leaves.

In less than 30 minutes, the officers raked up his entire yard.

The department posted photos of the effort and named the officers involved in helping out the veteran.

They were identified as Captain Matt Shultz, Sergeant Stu Smith, Ptlm. Jeff Schrock, Ptlm. Bob Warstler, Ptlm. Bryan Knowles, Ptlm. Logan Campbell, Ptlm. Alex Rosales, Ptlm. Sammy Johnson, and Ptlm. Miguel Lopez.
