EDWARDSBURG, Mich. -- Four Lakes Country Club says its golf course and restaurant will be open Wednesday during normal business hours after a fire destroyed a maintenance building on the property Tuesday afternoon.
The building caught fire around 3:30 p.m. and it took firefighters in Cass County around two hours to put out the flames.
U.S. 12 was temporarily closed between Adamsville and Eagle Lake roads as a result of the fire.
A man who witnessed the fire, Ray Cole, said it’s amazing there were no injuries.
“Because of the grounds that it’s on, being a golf course, they’re definitely lucky nobody was in there.”
