Crews put out fire at AM General in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Firefighters extinguished a fire in the H-1 building at AM General in Mishawaka Thursday morning.
According to Mishawaka Police, the building was evacuated shortly after the fire started.
The fire was in the room where they do the final testing phase of vehicles, according to fire officials.
The damage is estimated at $200,000 to $250,000.
The cause of the fire has not been determined. The fire is still under investigation.
