Elkhart Winterfest events change due to weather

ELKHART, Ind. - Due to warmer-than-usual temperatures, organizers of Elkhart's WinterFest celebration say there will be changes to the event.
Organizers say there had previously been two Irish Figure Skating Club Exhibitions scheduled at noon and 7:00p.m. There will now only be one exhibition at 7:00p.m.
Public skating at the NIBCO Water and Ice Park will begin following the exhibition. There will be no open skating as previously scheduled from 12:30p.m to 6:00p.m.
The Ugly Sweater Run will take place at 3 P.M. Check-in is at noon.
The WinterFest parade and tree lighting start at 6 on Main Street between Lexington and Franklin.
