Driver injured after SUV collides with tree

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- A driver was injured when their vehicle struck a tree Thursday afternoon at Redfield Street and Kline Road, according to the Cass County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened around 5 p.m.

Deputies said the driver was traveling east on Redfield when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree.

The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
