OSCEOLA, Ind. - A 34-year-old man is dead after a crash in Osceola.
It happened at the intersection of Beech and Lincolnway just after 6 p.m. Sunday night.
St. Joseph County Police are investigating.
Officers surmise the victim was riding a bike and lost control near the railroad tracks.
Investigators say the rider hit his head on a street sign while riding.
Authorities say the victims name will likely be released in the morning.
Due to protocol there will be a toxicology test done but no autopsy and results should be made available by the coroner in roughly two weeks.
The Fatal Alcohol Crash Team stopped the train for a couple hours while they finished their investigation.
