Cass County officials serve warrant, seize guns and money

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – A search warrant was served by the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team at a residence on the 71000 Block of Stateline Road in Ontwa Township on Friday afternoon.

While searching the residence, detectives say they found over 30 pounds of packaged marijuana, over 40 pounds of edible marijuana, and dozens of small containers filled with marijuana wax and hash oil prepared for distribution, according to the Cass County Sheriff's Department.

According to officials over $30,000 worth of cash was seized from the residence as well as several vehicles.

Warrants are being sought for multiple individuals in this matter and the investigation is still on going at this time.
