Capital Avenue to close Monday for bridge reconstruction

ST.JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – A very busy portion of Capital Avenue (S.R. 331) will close Monday for approximately two weeks.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Capital Avenue will close between Lincolnway East (S.R. 933) and Jefferson Street to allow for bridge reconstruction.
INDOT crews estimate the work will take approximately two weeks weather permitting.

Northbound travelers on Capital Avenue will be directed eastbound on Lincolnway East west of McKinley Highway (old U.S. 20) to Capital Avenue.
