Today will be much quieter. Temps should climb into the low to mid 40s across Michiana as more clouds start to move in this afternoon, setting the stage for this prolonged rain event. Showers will start filling in around 3 AM and continuing, almost constantly, throughout Monday, Monday night, and Tuesday. Heavy rain is likely at times and a few T-storms are possible. Watch out in low-lying areas and around creeks and streams as 2-4” of rain is possible by Wednesday morning. Temperatures will be noticeably warm as well during the event and we could potentially break some records on Tuesday. The rain switches over to a wintry mix early Wednesday before ending entirely by midday. The rest of the work week looks dry as highs fall back into the 40s.
Today: Mostly sunny with more PM clouds. High of 44.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with rain arriving late. Low of 37.
Monday: Cloudy with rain. A few thunderstorms possible. High of 58.
Tuesday: Cloudy with rain. A few thunderstorms possible. Highs in the mid 60s.
