Body found on Lake Michigan beach Friday morning

PORTER COUNTY, Mich. – A body was discovered on West Beach early Friday morning in Porter County Michigan.

The body was found just east of the Lake County line by two individuals on a walk right before 9 a.m.

The body was identified as a white male, according to police reports.

Foul play is not suspected, but the incident is still under investigation and identification of the body is pending.

The Porter County Coroner’s Office will conduct an autopsy.
