Blood found at residence by Goshen police during a welfare check

GOSHEN, Ind - According to the Goshen Police Department, at approximately 1:00 a.m. Saturday, a woman called police to have a welfare check on her children who reside with their father.

Upon arriving at the home, police said they found traces of blood on the front porch and door.

The police forced entry into the home to locate the homeowner who had accidentally cut himself. He was found asleep inside.

Medics responded but the homeowner refused any treatment.

A report was taken.
