BERTIE COUNTY, N.C. (CNN) -- A bear accidentally hitched a ride on a garbage truck in Bertie County, North Carolina.
Police stopped the garbage truck to let the driver know about the bear in the back. Police said the driver had no idea a bear had climbed inside.
The bear was stuck underneath some netting in the back of the truck, but once it was pulled back - the bear jumped out and fled to the woods.
