Showers move in this morning and last through midday. Skies are dry for most by this evening with clouds beginning to break up. We’ll finally be close to average before cooler air moves in late. Skies become partly cloudy by tomorrow with highs in the low 40s.
A big system begins to make its way in Friday evening. Clouds increase beforehand with highs making it into the low 50s. A few embedded thunderstorms are possible with this system as well as heavy rain. The rain lasts through Saturday morning with winds picking up during the day as much colder air moves in. Winds could gust near 40 mph at times, especially near the lakeshore. Lake effect rain/snow develops Saturday evening, turning to just snow overnight into Sunday.
Today: Morning showers, rainy and breezy midday then ending by midafternoon, high 50.
Tonight: Mostly to partly cloudy, low 34.
Thursday: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny, high 42.
Friday: Increasing clouds, showers possible in the evening, highs near 50.
