18-year-old dropped off at Goshen General with gunshot wound to the face

GOSHEN, Ind. -- The Goshen Police Department was called to Goshen General Hospital around 9:45 p.m. Friday night regarding an 18-year-old male victim who was dropped off with a single gunshot wound to the face.

"During the investigation, the police learned that the incident took place near the 400 block of Plymouth Avenue," Goshen police said. "This appears to be an isolated incident with no threat to the public. No arrest has been made at this time."

Officials say the victim was transported to another hospital for further medical treatment.
