SOUTH BEND, Ind. -

As you look around the Four Winds Field stadium during a ballgame, what do you see? Lots of South Bend Cubs apparel.

New gear is an important part of coming to each game to show off some Cubs pride.

It's a Cubs-Haven. The South Bend Cubs Team Store is filled with anything and everything a Cubs fan could ever want and need.

There are 1,000 new items this season including shirts, hats, and even a seven-foot "Stu" doll.

And it's all thanks to Brandy Beehler, the Director of Marketing and Merchandise for the team.

"Each year, I try to outdo myself from the year before," she says. "I do a lot of planning. We do sketches, I do the floor layout. Even the color combinations, you know, you want to make sure you have a good mix."

She has her rhythm to make sure fans get what they want, from the moment they walk into the store.

"The first thing they're going to see are the on-field caps," explains Beehler. "You're automatically drawn to something you're going to see the players wear on the field."

Her blueprint for the best shopping experience?

"My strategy, I would say, is to out-do myself. Be creative, and just have a good selection," she says. "Basically to the point where you're overwhelmed, and where you can't just pick one."

Beehler can't pick one herself, either.  She says she can't choose a favorite, because she loves them all.
