Today brings active weather with the threat of severe storms, especially this afternoon. We're starting the day dry, but a line of rain and thunderstorms moves in around 11:00 AM as a warm front lifts northward through the area. Although it'll be wet and stormy midday, this is not when we're seeing the greatest threat with our severe risk remaining relatively low. The line moves out around 2:00 PM, followed by scattered thunderstorms this afternoon. The window most likely to see severe storms will be 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM, severe weather ingredients look to be maximized around 5:00 PM. Our greatest concerns look to be hail and tornadoes, damaging winds and heavy rain are possible as well. Stay weather aware today and have your severe weather plan in place.
Storms wrap up around 8:00 PM with partly cloudy skies overnight. Much of tomorrow is quiet with highs near 80, rain and possibly a few thunderstorms return Wednesday evening. Our severe threat will be much lower but still non-zero. Expect Thursday to much cooler with showers, we should be drier but still cool Friday.
Today: Thunderstorms. High 74.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 54.
Wednesday: Evening rain, few storms possible. High 80.
Thursday: Showers. High 60.
