Walkerton man pleads guilty to unemployment insurance fraud

INDIANAPOLIS – A Walkerton man who pleaded guilty to unemployment insurance fraud will serve time and be forced to pay back $15,593.68 he fraudulently collected.

According to State of Indiana, Phillip Endicott, 46, pleaded guilty to the charge on July 5 after an investigation showed Endicott was working and receiving wages while claiming unemployment insurance benefits.

He was sentenced to 36 months, 12 of which will be served on home detention.

The last 24 months will be suspended to probation.
