Vote to be held on demolition of former Silver Lake Elementary School

SILVER LAKE, Ind. – A vote will be held over the demolition of the former Silver Lake Elementary School building Wednesday morning.
According to organizers of a rally opposing the demolition, the some sitting on the Silver Lake Town Board will vote to demolish the building.
It is unclear why the board wants to tear it down.
If you would like to attend the rally, it will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the school.
