Two vehicles involved in crash on US 20

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Two vehicles were involved in a crash on U.S. 20 on Friday.

On Friday around 3 p.m., Alice Sanchez, 63, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was traveling northwest bound in a 2010 Honda Civic. Sanchez and a passenger, 29-year-old Josh Saylor, were stopped at the intersection of the U.S. 20 exit ramp at S.R. 19 waiting to turn north.

Michael Fizer,41,of Elkhart, Indiana, was northwest bound in a 2006 Honda Ridgeline before rear-ending the Honda Civic at the exit ramp, police say.

Sanchez was transported to Elkhart General Hospital by Concord Paramedics for treatment of head pain. Saylor was transported by Baugo Paramedics for treatment of back pain.

All three people involved in the crash were wearing seat-belts.

No citations were issued.
