U.S. 6 closed for railroad crossing repairs

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. – U.S. 6 is closed Wednesday due to emergency railroad grade crossing repairs, according to the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office.
The Canadian National Railroad crossing is between State Road 39 and U.S. Highway 35.
LCSO says the road will be closed in that area from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
