SOUTH BEND, Ind.—South Bend Police say a teenager is dead after a double shooting Sunday night in South Bend.
Police were dispatched just after 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening to the 500 block of N. Brookfield after receiving reports of shots fired.
According to South Bend Police, nine rounds were fired.
Both victims were taken to Memorial Hospital.
One victim, a 16-year-old male, died. An 18-year-old male was treated and released. Police have not released the victim's names because not all family have been notified.
Police say no arrests have been made.
The Metro Homicide Unit is now handing the investigation and has talked with several witnesses.
