Tippecanoe Valley student allegedly made threats online

The Fulton County Sheriff's Department was contacted Tuesday evening about a threat posted to social media. A student had allegedly posted a threat on social media to harm others.

The alleged threats were going to be carried out on Wednesday, according to the sheriff's department.

The juvenile was located and apprehended on Tuesday night without incident, deputies said.

In an abundance of caution, the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department deployed additional resources throughout the corporation on Wednesday.

The investigation is ongoing.
