ELKHART, Ind. -- Employees with Thor Industries donated time Thursday to help build the walls of a Habitat for Humanity home in Elkhart.
Thor is this year's panel build sponsor by providing financial and volunteer support.
Fifty employees worked in two teams to build the exterior and interior walls of the home.
When the home is complete, Kylee Vogel and her four children will move in.
"After being done today it’ll be exciting just to know like the walls will go up and then we’ll be able to do like the floors and then as things go up it’s more exciting because it’s actually becoming a house and not just walls," Vogel said.
This is Thor's second time partnering with Habitat for Humanity.
"Our team has really embraced this as you can see we’re in the Thor green and the Habitat logo on the sleeve and really just trying to help people in ways that we can. We’re very fortunate our business is very strong and it’s always great just to give back," said Bob Martin, the CEO of Thor Industries.
Once completed the Vogel family's home will be nearly 1400 square feet with four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
