S.R. 23 resurfacing in South Bend begins May 10

Photo courtesy: Indiana Department of Transportation ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – A resurfacing and preventative maintenance project for S.R. 23 will begin on Monday, May 10 between Michigan Street and South Bend Avenue.
One lane will remain open in each direction throughout the project, which is expected to continue through mid-August, 2021.
Drivers are urged to stay alert near crews and follow traffic directions carefully. Allow extra time when driving through the area and slow down around the work zone.
