South Shore Line suspends train service for January 30-31

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—The South Shore Line has suspended train service for Wednesday, January 30 and Thursday, January 31 due to weather conditions.

Normal service will resume on Friday, February 1.

The train line said it encountered significant overnight wire problems on a test train.

Substitute busing will be available on Friday for WB Train 6 and Train 14. EB Trains 401 and Train 403 will be canceled. 

Metra Electric train service has also been suspended until further notice.
