South Bend Cubs extends city stay to 2041

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Cubs will continue its partnership with the City of South Bend and stay at Four Winds Field until at least 2041.

On Tuesday, January 19, the South Bend Park Board unanimously voted to extend the existing Use Operations and Management Agreement with the South Bend Cubs, amending the previous agreement from 2011.

The latest agreement comes as Major League Baseball extended invitations to 120 of the current 160 affiliated clubs to maintain relationships with their Major League Teams.

The South Bend Cubs have also been invited to move up to High-A status, allowing higher caliber playing on the baseball field.
