Six people indicted on federal charges for alleged heroin distribution conspiracy

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Six people from South Bend and Mishawaka have been indicted for allegedly participating in a heroin distribution conspiracy.

The following men were indicted:

  • Corey Harris, age 22, of South Bend, has been charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin and distribution of heroin
  • Isaiah Whitmore, age 25, of South Bend, has been charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin and distribution of heroin
  • Reginald Blackburn, age 25, of Mishawaka, has been charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin and distribution of heroin
  • Ryan Williams, age 27, of South Bend, has been charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin and distribution of heroin
  • Terron Taylor, age 22, of Mishawaka, has been charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin and distribution of heroin
  • Anthony Owens, age 30, of South Bend, has been charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin and distribution of heroin

The six people indicted are accused of conspiring to distribute heroin in excess of one kilogram.

Four of the suspects have been arrested.

Law enforcement officers are seeking the whereabouts of Harris and Taylor.
