Single rollover crash injures two out in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – A single rollover crash injured two people on Rudy Road, near Gage Street in Wayne Township, Cass County, Mich. on Friday around 9:41 p.m., according to the Cass County Sheriff's Office.

The driver of the vehicle heading northbound on Rudy Road when she allegedly lost control of the vehicle, deputies said. The car went out of control, overturned and came to rest against some trees, according to deputies.

Both the driver, a 20-year-old Dowagiac resident, and passenger, a 19-year-old South Bend resident, were able to get out of the car. However, the two women were transported to the hospital for their injuries, deputies said.

Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor in the crash. Seat belts were worn.
