Scattered thunderstorms Sunday afternoon

Sunday is another hot, humid day. Temperatures will reach a high around 90 degree. Heat indices will range from the mid to upper 90s this afternoon.

Most of Sunday is cloudy. It will be breezy through the day. There is a yellow flag for swim conditions at Lake Michigan today because of waves 2-4 feet.

Thunderstorms and showers are likely today, starting after noon.

While most showers and storms wrap up around 6 p.m., a few could linger through late this evening. Severe threat is currently low. The biggest threat with these storms are possibility of heavy rainfall and gusty winds.

Monday is quieter and slightly cooler. Expect mostly sunny skies and a high of 86 to start the week. Temperatures will stay in the mid to upper 80s each day this work week. More thunderstorms are expected through the day Tuesday.
