Saint Joseph High School students serve community in Joy of Saint Joe Day of Service

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Students at Saint Joseph High School will be taking part in the second-annual Joy of Saint Joe Day of Service on April 18.

On Thursday, students, staff and faculty will be going out into the community at over 50 different locations across South Bend to give to those in need.

The city-wide event runs from 9:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

According to a press release, the Joy of Saint Joe Day is made possible with the help of Kathy Kershner and Christine Diss from Christian Service and Pastoral Ministry.

Schools officials say the goal of the event is to create a large impact within the South Bend community.
